Our History

Telangana University was established through Act Number 28 of the State Government in the year 2006. The University was established with an objective to make higher education accessible to the educationally backward District of Nizamabad in Telangana. The University was initially launched with Six courses.

The University was shifted on January 30th, 2009 to the sprawling 577-acre campus at Dichpally. It is the third largest University next only to Osmania University and Kakatiya University in Telangana State.

Vision: To achieve world-class standards in academic excellence by imparting skill-based & quality higher education for the empowerment of rural youth by using innovative technology-driven learning methods.

Mission: To design and execute academic programs to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and industry requirements, and to produce graduates with knowledge, high values, and integrity.
